With over three decades of hairdressing experience, Douglas has worked behind the chair, on film & TV, backstage at New York Fashion Week and for globally known Product Companies.

Douglas passion for education lead him to co-open the doors of House of POp in 2014, with his wife Amy, wanting to create a local home for hardcore hairdressers. Over the years House of POp has grown into what it is today - a place for new stylist to learn, experienced hairdressers to feel free to create art and clients to feel like one of the cool-kids.

Over his career, Douglas has worked as an educator with brands like - Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Bumble & Bumble and R+Co. Getting to travel the world and help share his passion for the hair industry, Douglas has taught thousands of students and industry professionals, worldwide.

Today, Douglas is working behind the chair to continue to bring the best customer-focused experience to his clients while also educating and building an incredible team of stylist.
