Director of Education
Pronouns: She/They
At House of POp, education is the foundation of everything we do. As the Director of Education, I develop programs and curriculums that empower our stylists to grow creatively and professionally. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, I ensure you have access to world-class training, inspiration, and opportunities to evolve in your craft.
Beyond my role at House of POp, I am also the co-owner of The Hair Nerds, a platform dedicated to connecting hairdressers with advanced education and global experiences. Through The Hair Nerds, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to judge the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) for nearly a decade, collaborate with industry-leading brands on marketing and social media strategies, and teach Train-the-Trainer style classes on social media marketing and audience engagement. These experiences directly benefit our stylists by bringing high-level education, mentorship, and fresh perspectives into our salon space.
Throughout my career, I’ve spoken at cosmetology schools and professional beauty events across the country, sharing my passion for the industry with both new and experienced stylists. I’ve also been honored to participate in initiatives like the EmpowHERment Project, which highlights women leaders in beauty, and have worked with both large and boutique product and education brands to help shape their creative strategies.
My journey has included work in editorial and session styling, which I share with our stylists through my role as the leader and creative director of our Art Team. In this role, I teach junior and senior stylists how to work on set, model cast, create cohesive collections, and shoot for publication. Our salon has been published in trade media multiple times, and I’ve personally been featured in outlets like Entertainment Tonight (ET) and TMZ during my time working with Eden Sassoon, a salon owner, philanthropist, and daughter of the legendary Vidal Sassoon. Working with Eden taught me how to bridge the gap between high-end hairdressing and the demands of Hollywood, offering unique insights that I now share with our team.
From working red carpets at award shows to collaborating with brands on marketing strategies, my career has been defined by a deep love of learning and teaching. To me, education is about access. I see myself as a librarian, and House of POp is the library. Every piece of knowledge I’ve gathered—from working with brands to judging competitions—is here for you. It’s not my job to force anyone to learn, but for those ready to dive in, I’ll share everything I know to help you grow.
When you join House of POp, you gain more than a workplace—you become part of a community that thrives on creativity, excellence, and the pursuit of knowledge. Whether you want to master your craft, explore editorial work, or expand your professional opportunities, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
